The goal of this study is to understand how astrocytes affect the development of the auditory system.<\/p>\n<p>Vered\u00a0will be measuring calcium events in both astrocytes and neurons in the inferior colliculus of mice before and after hearing onset, with and without manipulation of astrocyte calcium activity.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations!
