Besides his dedication to the laboratory research, Cody has also been working together with other graduate students from the Solomon H. Snyder Department of Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University to increase the exposure and awareness of neuroscience research to underrepresented minorities in the Baltimore area. To appreciate and honor their efforts and performances, Project Bridge, the team he joined since 2015, was awarded “Next Generation Award” this year at the annual SfN conference.
